A Shades of Sagacity is the first short-story of the Collection of Black Futuristic Folktale Goddesses. The folktale is about a future society of monarchy that values their women. Princess Arava, as the second eldest of the King’s children, is responsible for finding herself a husband. She is distressed by who is worthy, as she must wade through a multitude of men, in finding who she thinks will be best suited for her. An army man, who is cursed with an old soul, and instills his wisdom, into a young relative. And, like always, Arava’s Grandmother has come with recommendations.
